Sector Hospitality & Catering: Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant

Job Type: Full Time/Part Time

Job Description

• You will need to be able to work in a busy environment
• Have experience of accepting, and the correct handling of food deliveries
• Always aim to keep the kitchen, storage areas, fridges and freezers clean and tidy.
• Be able to work full time, and hours will include evenings and weekends.
• Be willing to do small amounts of basic food preparation, if required

Bar Manager

Job Type: Full Time

KPI’S:

  • Successfully complete Bar and Cellar Management, and Customer Service training
  • Actively create and plan training modules including barista and wines.
  • To ensure the restaurant and bar run efficiently and staff work as a team, improve communication with line managers and co-workers
  • Liaise with Restaurant Manager to improve and design the bar drinks menu (including creating new cocktails, drink deals, etc.)
  • Actively promote the bar menu to improve drink sales
  • Monitor sales/stock take discrepancies e.g. keeping an eye on ‘shrinkage’ such as stealing and staff drinks on lunch breaks

How to find us

Parking Facilities
Tudor Barn Eltham has no parking facilities onsite. Parking can be accommodated along Kidbrooke Lane, which has no restrictions. Kidbrooke Lane can be accessed from Westhorne Avenue due to a road block on the A208 Well Hall Road entrance. Alternatively, Well Hall Road has a 90 minute parking restriction.

Public Transport
Eltham Railway Station is only five minutes away with fast trains to London Bridge via Lewisham (DLR). There are also regular Buses (124, 132, 160, 161 & 286) to Bromley, Catford, Chislehurst, Eltham and Woolwich.
