Terms & Conditions

GROUP BOOKINGS
Group bookings of 8 or more are subject to a £10 per head non refundable and non transferable deposit. For special events including Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas bookings this deposit is non refundable from the point of booking any amendments to the booking will not be refunded. 

CANCELLATION POLICY
The restaurant’s continued viability relies on reservations being honoured by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations. 
 
Accordingly, the following applies: 
  • We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any booking that is cancelled, or if numbers are reduced without 48 hours prior notice. 
  • For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or any changes to the number of guests at least 48 hours prior to your booking. 
  • The Tudor Barn reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of £10 per person for any bookings changed or cancelled. 
  • The cancellation fee reflects the cost incurred by the Tudor Barn in terms of staffing, food, and any lost revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings. 
  • We will notify you if any cancellation fee is applied. 
  • Any bookings which fail to turn up without any prior notice, will also incur a £10 per person fee.  

FORCE MAJEURE
The Company shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations as specified on the Contract if the delay or failure results from any of the following:
  • act of God;
  • outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance, act of terrorism;
  • the act of any government or authority (including refusal, delay in obtaining or revocation of any license or consent;
  • fire, explosion, flood, fog or bad weather; 
  • power failure, failure of telecommunications lines, failure or breakdown of plant machinery or vehicles;
  • default of suppliers or subcontractor; 
  • theft, malicious damage, strike lockout or industrial action of any kind.

VISITING THE RESTAURANT
  • Customers can only be served where they are seated. We offer inside and outside seating however customers are not allowed to enter the building unless they have a pre booked table within our restaurant space. 
  • Table service only. Guests can only purchase food and drinks at their tables via the waiting staff and are not allowed to access any of our bars
  • Toilet and had washing facilities for both inside and outside seated guests are located outside the building only. These are cleaned and maintained to the highest levels every hour.
  • We do not have disabled toilets within the building but we do have access to Well Hall Pleasaunce's disabled toilet via master key.
  • Please do not move your tables and chairs or add more chairs to a table, each table has been arranged to comply with current social distancing guidelines
  • We highly recommend you pre-book a table to drink or dine with us. If we have spare tables, we will happily seat you but if we have limited capacity you may be asked to leave.
  • We are not offering any take-away facilities, so guests have to eat and drink at their allocated tables only
  • Children attending will have to remain with their family bubbles and cannot run around the front lawn area near to other tables and diners
  • We have imposed a 2 hours limit on tables so that we are able to give lots of people the opportunity to drink and dine with us. Please note table bookings will only be held for 15 minutes after which time your table will be released
  • You will be required to provide your name and contact details prior to drinking/dining with us if you have not pre booked. 
  • Please keep 2m distancing where possible or 1m+ with guidelines

Failure to comply to any of the above may result in you and your party being asked to leave the premises
