Celebration Package
An evening wedding with the food, the bar and the DJ already sorted
The Celebration Package is for couples who would rather spend their wedding evening dancing than worrying about table arrangements. You take the upstairs Tudor Gallery from 4.00pm until midnight and we handle the rest.
Only use this while the extension is running, and take it down once it has passed.
Now extended. The Celebration Package is bookable for the next six months, and for January and February 2027.
What you get
From 4:00pm - midnight the upstairs Tudor Gallery and the side deck are yours, with your own private bar and your own toilets. Our gastropub stays open to the public downstairs, which is what keeps the price where it is.
The room is dressed and ready before you arrive, so there is nothing for you to set up and nothing to clear away at the end of the night.
Included in the £5,000
• The upstairs Tudor Gallery and the side deck from 4.00pm until midnight
• Tables, Chiavari chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, uplighters, flowers and fairy lights on the beams, a post box, cake stands and easels for your signage
• Your own private bar and toilets
• Full staffing and security throughout the evening
• Your DJ and disco, provided by Staar Productions
• Supplier access from 10am to midday, so your florist or cake maker can drop everything in during the morning
The £500 DJ and disco fee is invoiced separately by Staar Productions, with the remaining £4,500 payable to Tudor Barn Eltham.
Food and drink
The package includes a minimum pre order spend of £1,800 on food and £480 on drinks, and you choose from our buffets, hog roasts, BBQs, wandering snacks and sharing desserts. All of the menus are in our Food and Drinks Guide, and our team will talk you through them once you have your numbers.
Add your ceremony for £500
If you would like to get married here , we can also hold a ceremony or a blessing at half past four at the fireplace end of the Tudor Gallery for up to 90 guests, followed by a drinks reception before the evening gets going. Greenwich registrar fees are not included in that, and you arrange those directly with them.
If this package is not quite right for you
The Celebration Package suits a good many couples, but it does not suit everybody, and we would far rather tell you that now than after you have booked. There are three reasons couples move across to our Reception Only hire instead.
The first is exclusivity. With the Celebration Package our gastropub stays open to the public downstairs, so if you want the whole building to yourselves with nobody else in it, this is not the one. The second is time, because 4:00pm is a late start if you are marrying at a church or a register office earlier in the day and want your guests to come straight to us. The third is how far ahead you want to book, since the Celebration Package only opens six months out while our Reception Only hire is bookable two years ahead.
Reception Only is our full day exclusive hire, which means the entire venue from ten in the morning until midnight, and it is the same booking whether you marry here or somewhere else.

Booking and payment
We take a 50% deposit along with your signed contract when you book, then 25% three months before your date and the final 25% one month before. All of our prices are inclusive of VAT and we do not add a service charge to your contract.
Common questions
Do we get the whole venue to ourselves?
No, and this is the main difference between this package and our Reception Only hire. You have exclusive use of the upstairs Tudor Gallery and the side deck, while our gastropub carries on serving the public downstairs. If you want the building closed to everybody else, Reception Only is the one you want.
Which days can we have?
Fridays and Saturdays. If you need a different day of the week, our full day exclusive hire runs Monday and Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
How far in advance can we book?
Up to six months. If you are planning further ahead than that, take a look at Reception Only, which is bookable two years in advance.
We are getting married at a church that morning. Can we use this package?
You can, but a four o’clock start often does not work well after a morning or early afternoon ceremony, because your guests are left with a long gap in between. Most couples in that position take our Reception Only hire so that everybody can come straight here from the church.
Is the DJ really included?
Yes. Your DJ and disco come through Staar Productions and are part of the £5,000, although they invoice their £500 separately, so £4,500 of the total comes to us.
Can we bring our own caterer or our own decorations?
Food and drink are ours, as the package is built around our own kitchen and bar. You are very welcome to bring your own decorations, and because we are a listed building there are a few things we cannot allow, so please have a word with our events team before you order anything.
