Do you offer shared and exclusive Christmas party nights?

Yes, we offer both shared joiner party nights and exclusive hire Christmas parties in the Tudor Gallery. Shared nights are ideal for smaller teams who would like a big party atmosphere with other companies, while exclusive nights give you private use of the space for your guests only, with tailored menus, entertainment and timings to suit your end of year celebration.

What spaces can we use for a Christmas party at Tudor Barn Eltham?

The Tudor Gallery upstairs is our main party space and provides a warm, characterful setting for seated Christmas dinners or party nights. Guests can also enjoy the bar and Gastropub areas downstairs and, weather permitting, make the most of the lawn for arrival drinks and festive photos before settling into the main event.

Do you provide festive food and drink packages for Christmas celebrations?

We offer seasonal menus for Christmas parties, Christmas Day lunch and New Year's Eve, ranging from traditional sit-down dinners to buffets and canapes. These can be paired with drinks packages featuring fizz on arrival, wines, beers and winter cocktails, so you can keep everything simple and wrapped up under one booking.

Do you host Christmas Day lunch at Tudor Barn Eltham?

Yes, we serve a relaxed Christmas Day lunch in our downstairs Gastropub and restaurant, with a festive multi course menu and all the traditional trimmings. It is designed to take the pressure off Christmas cooking, so you can arrive, enjoy the Tudor atmosphere and spend quality time with family and friends while we look after the food and service.

What does your New Year's Eve event involve?

Our New Year's Eve celebrations start from 7.00pm, when guests are welcomed into the cosy Gastropub and restaurant for a delicious three course dinner. After dinner, a live DJ and disco downstairs from around 10.00pm keeps everyone dancing through to 1.00am, so you can raise a glass at midnight and enjoy a full evening of food, music and celebrations in a warm, historic Tudor setting.

Do you run Christmas wreath making workshops?

Yes, we host seasonal wreath making workshops as part of our festive calendar, where you can learn how to create your own handmade Christmas wreath in a relaxed, creative session. They are a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit, and you will leave with a wreath ready to hang at home, plus the chance to enjoy drinks or food in the Gastropub before or after.

What is the usual capacity for Christmas parties at Tudor Barn Eltham?

In the Tudor Gallery we can seat up to 180 guests for a festive dinner, or welcome up to 200 for a standing party style evening, which works well for everything from department dinners to whole company celebrations. Using the Gastropub and restaurant downstairs as well, we can also arrange more informal or breakout festive events.

How early should we book Christmas events like parties, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve?

We recommend booking as early as possible, as key dates in December, especially Fridays, Saturdays, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve, tend to sell out quickly. Getting in touch early gives you the best choice of dates, menus and entertainment options for your Christmas party, wreath making workshop, Christmas Day lunch or New Year's Eve celebration.
